Maribel Ortiz
Maribel Ortiz is a Puerto Rican architect and urbanist with 30 years of experience in the design and construction of public and private projects. In the field of urban planning, she has worked on the development of high-profile projects, including the master plans for the Puerto Rico Convention Center District and the master plans for Parque Escorial.
Throughout her tenure with Andrés Mignucci Arquitectos, she has been involved most major projects, some of which include the Parque Luis Muñoz Marin (2016), the Escuela de Bellas Artes (2008-2012), the Centro para Puerto Rico (2009), La Ventana al Mar (2004), the Parque Luis Muñoz Rivera (2000-2004), and the Parque de los Niños (2000).
Ortiz is also an experienced educator, having dedicated 12 years to teaching Architectural Design and History at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
