About
ANDRES MIGNUCCI ARQUITECTOS is a firm for the practice of architecture, planning, landscape, and urban design. The office undertakes design problems from the scale of towns and neighborhoods to individual buildings and from conceptual design to construction and implementation.
The firm offers the essential architectural and urban design services: architecture, urban design, planning, and landscape architecture as integrated disciplines – all part of a comprehensive vision for the projects undertaken. It seeks those projects in which social issues and physical issues can be approached as one whole. The design team is committed to working with the full range of people who will be affected by a plan or design, and to a style of work that leaves the client with a continuing capacity for effective management and development.
Andrés Mignucci FAIA (1957-2022) established the firm in 1988. He was involved in a broad spectrum of projects ranging from large-scale urban design planning and single or multifamily housing complexes, to the detailed design of spaces and buildings. His large body of work has received recognition for its integration of the disciplines of architecture and design with a sense of place, human scale, and environmental responsibility.
MARIBEL ORTIZ, with 30 years of professional experience, has worked with the firm since 1995. She has participated in a wide range of architectural and urban planning projects, including building design, single- and multi-family housing complexes, and the creation of public spaces.
VIVIAN NEGRON has professional experience ranging from new construction projects to historic restorations recognized for their excellence. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has served as Director of Professional Practice at the College of Architects and Landscape Architects of Puerto Rico.
The firm has been recognized with over twenty-five local, national and international design awards for design excellence.
